## About the game

This is a **P2E (Play-to-Earn)** game on the **TON blockchain** (TMA — Telegram Mini App), where the primary resource is the meme token **$TIGER**.

 [Learn about TON Development](https://metalamp.io/ton)

In this game, users purchase **NFT collections** featuring various characters, complete tasks, and earn in-game currency tokens.

## App functionality

- ### Tasks

During the game, users must complete various tasks, such as placing their first tiger, mining notTIGER, inviting referrals, and more.
- ### Achievements

Players earn achievements for completing various actions, such as placing their first tiger.
- ### Leaderboards

A table listing all players competing each game season for $TIGER tokens — a real cryptocurrency on the TON network.
- ### Referral Program

A mechanism that allows users to earn rewards by inviting others to join the game.
- ### Withdrawal of earned tokens to user wallets

Players can exchange in-game currency **notTIGER** for real **TIGER** tokens and withdraw them to their wallets.
- ### Purchasing Boosts to Upgrade NFTs in the Game

Players can spend their TIGER tokens to acquire boosts that temporarily enhance multipliers.

 For example:
- **Fish** halves the mining time.
- **Meat** increases the amount of notTIGER claimed.

## Task for Development

Create an MVP for a DEX with the following features: swaps, liquidity pools, spNFT staking, and rewards for staking.

The client was looking for a team to integrate existing contracts and frontend into a cohesive product and chose MetaLamp for the job.

## What we did

 ### Process
Organization

We assembled a team of skilled and confident specialists, replacing scattered freelancers with a full development team led by a project manager.

This allowed us to speed up the development process and shorten the timeline for the product’s commercial launch.

We transformed all client requirements into a clear roadmap of tasks and deliverables.

 ### Frontend
Improvements

Our frontend development team integrated the smart contracts with the interface and completely overhauled the layout, removing non-functional elements and enhancing both usability and user experience.

 ### Refinement of smart contracts and network selection

The team adapted the smart contracts for the new network, deployed them, and set up the DEX subgraph to display prices and calculate APR.

To address the task, we selected the Camelot protocol. We conducted extensive research, integrated it with the frontend, and migrated the platform to Scroll, ZkSync, and Base.

 Research

 Research

 ![](https://metalamp.io/images/arkitekt-dex/what-did-section-screenshot.png)

For deploying the smart contracts, the client changed their network choice several times:

Initially, they chose Scroll, an EVM-compatible network.

Then, they switched to zkSync, which has lower EVM compatibility and required us to delve deeper and gain more expertise.

Ultimately, the client decided on Base.

## As a result we accomplished it!

In just 3 months, our client received a functional MVP solution on the Base Sepolia network.

The project is now at the stage of launching on the mainnet.

# Akro po lis

DeFi yield aggregator for investing in crypto products

In 2019, Akropolis launched an initial coin offering (ICO), and our team came on board to help the client develop and test the MVP in the early stages of product development.

 ![](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/why-us-section-img-desktop.webp)
## Why did the client choose us?

The client needed a strong frontend team and multiple developers right away.

Hiring an in-house frontend developer could have taken 3-4 weeks, and putting together a full team would have taken even longer and been more expensive. On top of that, they needed to launch as quickly as possible.

By 2019, we already had around 20 experienced frontend developers, with major projects under our belt (like Improvado and Datalight), involving complex tables and advanced client-side computations.

We were the perfect fit for the job.

## Launched 10 different MVP versions

The Akropolis project started as a decentralized savings and pension fund — an alternative to government pension funds, which people often distrust due to issues like corruption and lack of transparency.

![](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/mvp-section-bg.webp) The client needed to quickly test various hypotheses. We efficiently handled all the frontend work for these MVPs.

 ![mvp-section-img-1](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/mvp-section-img-1.png) ![mvp-section-img-2](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/mvp-section-img-2.png)

 ![](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/mvp-section-img-1.png)

 ![](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/mvp-section-img-2.png)

We made every effort to reuse previous work, such as UI component libraries, wallet integration, approval systems, and balance features. This approach allowed us to speed up development and quickly release the initial versions of the products.

## Challenges we faced

2022 year An event occurred that shaped the future direction of the platform and our work: criminals stole 2,030,850 Dai (DAI) using the savings pools.

After the hack, the product strategy shifted: the client decided to fully switch to front-end protocols for enhanced security. All tasks were handed over to our team.

06 experts were involved at the time

We learned how to handle critical situations: quickly providing updates to the project community, writing announcements, and staying available, as frontend developers might also be needed to promptly disable certain features.

![](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/today-section-akropolis.png) ![](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/today-section-clouds.png) ![](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/today-section-clouds.png) Our work with Akropolis led to 5 years of close collaboration.

## How the product is evolving today

The product development strategy depends on the community (DAO), which votes on whether to approve or reject new decisions.

Our team suggests updates and improvements for the product, and they receive support from the community.

 ![today-section-img-1](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/today-section-img-1.png) ![today-section-img-2](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/today-section-img-2.png)

### Liquity

After integrating Liquity into Akropolis, users gained the ability to stake their ETH to receive loans in the stablecoin LUSD, without having to repay the loan by a specific deadline.

This added an extra layer of financial flexibility to the Akropolis platform, giving users more options for managing their assets. Now, users can make better use of their cryptocurrency portfolios by accessing liquidity without needing to sell their Ether investments.

 ![today-section-img-3](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/today-section-img-3.png) ![today-section-img-4](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/today-section-img-4.png)

 ![](https://metalamp.io/images/akropolis/today-section-img-4.png)

### Lido

After integrating Lido, Akropolis users can now participate in Ethereum staking directly through the platform, receiving stETH staking tokens in exchange for their staked ETH.

This provides them with a steady income from staking, boosting the returns on their investments without the need to manage hardware or worry about minimum deposit amounts.

I’ve had a chance to work with the guys on 2 different blockchain projects. Over the time of cooperation, they showed the strongest technical skills, total commitment to the project, and shared understanding. It’s a real pleasure to work with them.

In 2019, when we started working with Akropolis, it was our first major project in web3. You could say this project set our course: to focus specifically on blockchain development.

Today, we’re a company specializing in crypto and blockchain solutions, and we are among the leaders in the global market.

## About a work process

 project manager

![arrow-pink](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-pink.svg) Here is how we proceeded:

- ### Gathered requirements

Made ideas into tasks, dealt with restrictions. As a result, we got wireframes and technical specifications ready for development.
- ### Estimated the time and cost of work

Based on technical specifications developers and a designer made a plan of daily tasks.
- ### Synchronized expectation

We made sure that both the client and our team had the same task and restrictions view. Approved the format of work and communication.

![arrow-pink](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-pink.svg) First step was making work on design and backend to be simultaneous…

 tech lead

![arrow-blue](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-blue.svg) Sorry to interrupt, but I got carried away and did all the backend part. Although we don't have a design yet, let's show how everything works with test interface components to the customer.

![arrow-light-blue](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-light-blue.svg) No problem, I'll act as a designer for now and we'll add UI when it's ready.

## Challenge #1
GSN integrations

 ![Bogdan Gavrilets](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/bogdan-gavrilets.png) Bogdan Gavrilets

 client, MetaPool founder

![arrow-green](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-green.svg) Guys, we need to do something so that our clients don't worry about commissions. We didn't take this into account in the assessment. Is it possible?

 ![Dasha](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/dasha-kiseleva.png) Dasha

 flexible manager

  ![arrow-pink](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-pink.svg) Yay, it is.

![arrow-pink](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-pink.svg) It was not an easy task, but we finally provided clients with gasless transactions in service, used Gas Station Network solution. Here are difficulties we faced with:

 ![blob-3](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/blob-3.svg)
## Challenge #1
GSN integrations

- ### Token specifics

"Out of the box" solution is suitable for gasless transactions with Eth in Ethereum. Our task was to provide gasless transactions with BUSD in Binance Smart Chain. The difference is that setting for native tokens (which are Eth and BNB) is easier than setting for BEP-20 (or ERC-20) tokens due to specialities of tokens themselves)
- ### Few realization examples

Although OpenGSN provides solutions in many EVM-compatible networks, in BSC infrastructure is not developed enough: few test servers, not all network problems are solved, few projects which can show examples "How others did it".
- ### Additional estimation

The sender of a transaction made through the GSN is one of the intermediary contracts of the system. In our service, it was important to keep track of which wallet a transaction was made from in order to replenish the user's balance.

 ![Roma](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/roma-yarlykov.png) Roma

 smart-contracts master

![arrow-violet](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-violet.svg) Here is what we did as a result:

- ### Integrated GSNR contracts with the service contract system.
- ### Rewrote backend logic to track gasless transactions.
- ### Changed some testnet providers and GSN servers to test in different conditions.
- ### For production, we raised our relay server so that everything works quickly and without errors.

  ![arrow-violet](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-violet.svg) Thanks, I'm fine 🤖

## Challenge #2:
change of priorities

 ![Bogdan Gavrilets](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/bogdan-gavrilets.png) Bogdan Gavrilets

 client, MetaPool founder

![arrow-green](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-green.svg) We are going to have a recording for a foreign conference and we need to show our MVP. Can we?

 ![Dasha](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/dasha-kiseleva.png) Dasha

 project manager

![arrow-pink](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-pink.svg) We flexibly adapted to the changing needs of the client, because we understand what it is like to work on a startup. So we worked in short iterations, set goals based on the requirements of the client and the marketing plan.

 ![blob-4](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/blob-4.svg)
## About project plans

 ![Dasha](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/dasha-kiseleva.png) Dasha

 project manager

![arrow-pink](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-pink.svg) We have taken an important step in the life of the service together with the client, after which further steps are expected. And we are happy to help with it. 🚀

 ![roadmap](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/roadmap-metapool.png) ![Bogdan Gavrilets](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/bogdan-gavrilets.png) Bogdan Gavrilets

 client, MetaPool founder

![arrow-green](https://metalamp.io/images/metapool/arrow-green.svg) During the work the guys brought to life additional ideas for functionality, kept the process transparent and the project was ready in 3 months. This allowed me to raise the investment and now release into production is ahead.

‍
[github.com...](https://github.com/input-output-hk/plutus-use-cases/)

We designed and developed the first NFT marketplace on Cardano.

Our main purpose was testing Plutus platform - an environment for writing smart contracts on the Cardano blockchain.

## Workflow
Workflow
Workflow

- ### Requirements

We received technical requirements from IOHK and decomposed them to small tasks to provide an approximate budget and term.
- ### Process

We decided to work by Time and Material because of the high level of uncertainty. Plutus platform needed to be tested, so risk of unexpectable troubles was real.
- ### Communication

Our developers had productive partnership with IOHK members. Our team took part in Cardano summit, some monthly updates and technical presentations.

 ![dasha-pixel](https://metalamp.io/images/nft-markeplace/project-team/dasha-pixel.svg) Darya

 Project manager

I remember how excited the team was when we kicked off this project: it was a chance to deepen our expertise in Cardano blockchain, try out IPFS protocol and wrap this all up in a pretty interface. So proud to be a part of this project!

## Project's features

Application works as a classic marketplace for NFT

  Users can:

- Create their non fungible tokens
- Unite cards (tokens) in collections (bundles)
- Make auction
- Set price and auction period
- Upload images, as well as video and audio files

## The platform is monetizing through commissions from the sale of NFTs and auctions.

 ![stas-pixel](https://metalamp.io/images/nft-markeplace/project-team/stas-pixel.svg) Stanislav

 Plutus engineer

Every NFT creation is done in two steps, first - uploading associated metadata (this could be any file e.g. a picture) into storage, second - minting a token that goes into creators wallet on blockchain. First step requires a very important property - content addressability, this is ensured by IPFS: every file gets a unique content ID. The main purpose of the marketplace smart contract is to ensure a one to one link between a token in users wallet and that content ID. NFT marketplace app also provides user ability to list NFTs for sale or auction and bundling them up, ensuring privacy of content ID links for not listed NFTs.

## Why IOHK
 chosen us

![logo-iohk-color](https://metalamp.io/images/nft-markeplace/logo-iohk-color.svg) Infrastructure for Cardano smart-contracts was written in Haskell, and our team has experience in working with Haskell since 2018. ‍

This was the main reason why IOHK turned to us.

Our Haskell team of experienced developers is passionate about such complex and interesting tasks, as well as constant challenges to their capabilities. We had to go through an affiliate introductory program to master the Plutus platform, take part in the research of various solutions together with the customer's team, and also work on our own solutions - create our own decentralized application on Cardano.

## Experience we received
after this project
